Day 1 IN ATLANTA
Day 1 in a new city is all about taking it in and settling into your home for the weekend. We stayed at the Starling in Midtown, however I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it. The walls were paper thin and the room wasn’t the cleanest when we checked in. I recommend staying at Loews instead if you like Midtown, or for a more luxury stays the Waldorf Astoria in Buckhead or the Four Seasons in Midtown. We went in January 2023

- Tour the World of Coca-Cola: Discover the history of the world’s most famous soft drink, taste different Coca-Cola products from around the world, and explore interactive exhibits. Try
- Walk Through Piedmont Park: Enjoy a day outdoors in Atlanta’s largest park, perfect for picnicking, jogging, or just relaxing with a view of the city skyline.
- Visit the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park: Learn about the life and legacy of the civil rights leader by visiting his childhood home, Ebenezer Baptist Church, and the King Center.

The restaurant’s ambiance is refined yet comfortable, with a focus on creating a warm and welcoming dining experience. It’s a great spot to enjoy sophisticated Southern fare in an elegant setting.
Day 2
The second day in Atalanta we dedicated to going to the Porsche Experience Center. For car enthusiasts and those looking to experience the thrill of high-performance driving. Located just minutes from downtown Atlanta, this state-of-the-art facility offers visitors a chance to get behind the wheel of various Porsche models and test their limits on a purpose-built track. Of course there are many other things to do in the ATL but I found joy in visiting this place as a birthday present to my boyfriend.
- Ponce City Market/Atlanta BeltLine: One of the coolest food halls I’ve been to with so many shops, vendors and places to eat. The amusement park on up on the roof perfect for a cute mini golf sesh. You can also hop on the beltline from Ponce City Market and make your way through stunning views and different neighborhood of the ATL.
- Porsche Experience: Located just minutes from downtown Atlanta, this state-of-the-art facility offers visitors a chance to get behind the wheel of various Porsche models and test their limits on a purpose-built track. In addition to the driving experiences, the center features a variety of attractions, including a Heritage Gallery showcasing iconic Porsche models, a simulator lab, and a fine-dining restaurant overlooking the track. Whether you’re a lifelong Porsche fan or just looking for a unique experience, the Porsche Experience Center provides a perfect blend of adrenaline, luxury, and Southern hospitality.

Stroll through tree-lined streets, visit the Atlanta History Center, and indulge in the area’s chic bars and restaurants. Buckhead seamlessly blends Southern elegance with modern sophistication, making it a must-visit in Atlanta.
- Sports outing (Baseball, Basketball, Football): Depending on the season, Atlanta is a big sports city and you can’t go wrong with catching a game. Whether it be a Braves baseball game at Truist Park, football at with the Falcons or basketball with the Hawks you will have a blast.

- South City Kitchen Midtown: Such a great dinner spot, we came here for a birthday celebration. The food and atmosphere was cozy with amazing food, a take on souther classics with an upscale twist.
- Mary Macs Tea Room: a beloved Atlanta institution, serving up classic Southern comfort food since 1945. Known as “Atlanta’s Dining Room,” it offers favorites like fried chicken, collard greens, and cornbread in a warm, nostalgic setting. A visit to Mary Mac’s is a must for an authentic taste of Southern hospitality and tradition. Some of the best southern food I’ve ever had, very authentic.
- Cooks & Soldiers: a trendy Atlanta restaurant inspired by the flavors of Spain’s Basque region. Known for its modern, creative take on traditional pintxos (small snacks) and wood-grilled dishes, the restaurant offers a vibrant dining experience
